Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog! Due to the popularity of our annual holiday letter, we thought it might be entertaining and informative to maintain this site year-round and keep you updated on our adventures.We have a lot of exciting things going on this summer including a major remodel of the house. We'll give you a front row seat to the chaos that will undoubtedly follow, and post photos of the transformation of Fort Awesome as it occurs.
Here's a picture from the 4th of July when we had a bunch of friends and family members over for a BBQ. Note the deck stairs in the middle of the picture, just to the left of the trees. They were the first things to go as part of the remodel project. Early last week, our local handy man ripped them down and closed off the deck. He also trimmed the oak trees so we have a better view of the lake.
We're off to a great start!
